The objective of the Republican's is to destroy Obama, social services (social security, medicare and medicade) and the government and even our democracy e.g. new onerous voting requirements. They bluffed Obama last fall into letting buhs tax cuts go on by holding necessary programs hostage and found a new way to bluff him again with the debt ceiling.
