The only sad thing is watching the lot of you make fools of yourselves. Just stop for a second and do the math on these bulbs. Of course, they save you money. They last 5-10 times longer and use much less electricity. The lifespan and savings on electricity more than make up for the up front costs. Sheesh.

The only thing I agree with you guys on is the government should not be making laws to ban incandescents. They should let the free market decide. But regardless of the laws, I do believe you bunch would continue to throw your good money at incandescents despite the obvious waste of money. No wonder this country can't balance a budget. Americans don't know how to do basic cost/benefit analyses, as evidenced by many on this thread..
