Could be. Could be the smart money is already positioned to make a killing as the game plays out <my cynical side>. Short, then, with advanced notice, long. Played right there are $Billions at stake.

But yes, when/if the pacic sets in it will focus the mind of those in Washington. Too late? Could very well be. In the good old days we didn't elect irresponsible folks that would risk our prosperity on a partisan, ideological game.

Democracy, as we knew it, is finished. It's every man for himself.
