Intraday chart of the Dow bounced down off 125 twice. I jumped out a little early, but would rather err on the side of caution than get caught.

If the Japanese government is going to prop up their banks, my impression is that they may have to sell some of their US bond & equity holdings in order to do that. (Remember back in June when Japan "thought" about selling US equities? The market dropped 125 points in two hours) IMO the problems in Asia with poor economic practices, corruption, traditions, and overvaluations in real estate, etc. will take a little longer than just one rally to overcome.

When HWP announces earnings after market today, we'll get our first view of how tech companies with Asian exposure will be affected by all this. The fact that HWP is only up 1 1/2 points while everything else is way up in this rally is not all that encouraging.....
