The dollar values are so incredibly huge that even if you stripped everybody of all of their private property except SS retirees, there still isn't enough money to pay. The whole problem lies with stooopid people not being able to do simple arithmetic and how much exactly is $50 to $60 trillion. Dummies will say, well that sounds like a lot of money but if we just raised taxes on the rich that would cover it! NO IT DOES NOT!! It's not even close. Dummies also have a hard time understanding exponential growth rates and what that means.
