Yes, they are.... If management is controlled by unions they shouldn't be managers.... The Japanese showed this many times by taking over a failing company here and by simply changing upper management turned it around......most administrators and bureaucrats were dumped but not the worker bees..... Lee Iaccoca turned Chrysler around, Lou Gerstner turned IBM around...there are dozens of examples...

nonsense...management must be able to see what the long term needs and run the company accordingly. A company can eliminate pensions and health benefits without consulting unions..... You're looking for an excuse not a reason......
