He called republicans a hateful name in public, for no better justification than republicans represent an opposing position to Democrats... duh. It was a purely bigoted partisan attack with no value beyond his demostration of how easy it is for a partisan extremist to express hatred.

Of course, that is not true. Its not just R opposition that is prompting the name calling but the past behavior of Rs as well as their current opposition to any type of compromise when it comes to budgetary matters.

For an example, Rs have been calling Jerry Brown Governor Moonbeam and much worse names for years now. Ask Topcat about it.

Lots of you may say sexist, racist, and bigoted things in private, which doesn't justify that type of conduct coming from public representatives. It is the wrong thing to do at any time but there is no consequence for private thoughts, feelings, or expressions. Public attacks are quite another matter.

If you want that to happen, I suggest you tell Rs to stop with the public name calling. For an example they can stop publicly accusing the president of the US of being a Muslim and having been born in Kenya.

That's far and away much more serious than calling Rs moronic. Don't you agree?
