> Not only are you nuts you're a complete asshole. You think we need a national energy policy but you don't want to participate in one.

A national energy policy is not about taking away Americans' rights to choose how they spend their money. It is about making good policy decisions that insure we will have choices to make.

Sometimes the whims of an individual have to be curtailed for the common good. Its why we have traffic lites. There are people who do not want to be stopped artificially by some lite. They would rather stop and go as they see fit. However, that doesn't benefit the common good........in fact, it puts it in jeopardy.

Same with a lot of other things. Again.....you all are like children and don't want limits placed on you. That does not work well for the common good.

Our government doesn't need to spend more of our kids money to have an "energy policy". And it doesn't need to continue compromising our economy by interfering with business.

A good first step would be to stop lying to the American people about the [nonexistent] dangers of fracking.

Dave, you are hopelessly confused. Its not the gov't whose telling you that hydrofracking is bad........its private groups that have sprung up because of the problems they have experienced from hydrofracking. I will admit its not conclusive that hydrofracking is bad but there is enough negative evidence that suggests it needs to be monitored very closely. In fact, any time an industry deals with toxic chemicals they should be monitored closely. And that's true even when the materials are of a more natural origin.......see the Gulf oil spill of last summer.

Ironically, you would rather listen to the PR from corps who have a long history of lying to the American public rather than to private interest groups or the gov't. In a million years, I will never understand such thinking. Sorry.
