Yeah, Tenchusatsu, the repug jobs program...go after the lightbulb bill they themselves sponsored in 2007 and overwhelmingly approved by the House and Senate and signed by Bush...

>>" The Battle of the Bulb: How an obscure lightbulb law became a Tea Party rallying cry "<<

news.yahoo.com

And who is leading the "fight"?...why no else but Joe Barton who made such a fool of himself apologizing to the CEO of BP because the US Gov't made them put up $20 Bn for creating the GOM oil disaster. And he is being ably assisted by the Fred Upton who sponsored the bill in the first place.

Yup, the repug jobs program... go after energy saving lightbulbs, Planned Parenthood, Gay Marriage, put teachers, firefighters, policemen out of work and fight the debt ceiling increase while Europe is flaming up so that any job creation in the West can be halted while they try to kill any faith left in the good credit of the USA...

No wonder David Brooks says this repug party of yours is "Not Fit to Govern".

>>" If the debt ceiling talks fail, independent voters will see that Democrats were willing to compromise but Republicans were not. If responsible Republicans don't take control, independents will conclude that Republican fanaticism caused this default. They will conclude that Republicans are not fit to govern.

And they will be right.
