Maybe surviving a terrible tragedy makes a man humble and thankful to be alive. Yes...ok, I buy that. Maybe there are reasons beyond our understanding why some people were spared and others weren't. Riiight... Maybe when everything else is taken from you, including family and friends, the only thing that keeps you going is faith in God. Bull...what keeps you going is no other choice and the will to live. Personally, I think all those reasons make more sense than the belief that we're all just the product of random chance. Yeah, but why are these people thanking an all seeing, all good god that spared them but allowed the death of many of their townskin?
