A California woman has been charged with aggravated mayhem for allegedly drugging her estranged husband, cutting off his penis and tossing it into a garbage disposal, police say, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Catherine Kieu Becker, 48, of Garden Grove, has also been charged with false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, administration of a drug with intent to commit a felony, poisoning and spousal abuse.
Police say Becker called 911 to report a medical emergency and allegedly told responding officers that "he deserved it."
Investigators found the 51-year-old victim tied to a bed and bleeding from the groin area.
He told officers that when he awoke from a drugged state, Becker grabbed his penis, cut it off with a knife, threw it in a garbage disposal and turned it on, the newspaper reports.
He is listed in serious condition at UC Irvine Medical Center, the Times reports. |
