am off to other civilization google.com within 18 hours or so, for 3 weeks
shall have laptop / ipad / iphone / blackberry in luggage, jack on back, erita at side, led by wife, followed by mom, nanny, in-laws, and friends, later to be joined by more friends and relations, all in effort to save the french economy. france seems to welcome tourism, without fussing about body scans, pat downs, and all such nonsense, and i also figured best spend some time there before they breakout with the french revolution, part deux.
re usa budget and debt ceiling and all such, ignore the noise, quanto easing part 3 well on way. alaska should benefit, as oil heads to 200/brl, but suffer, as grocery heads to 300/bag, win some lose some.
