Carl: Mercury is in the process of restructuring themselves, they have very little time to do that, their creditors can pull the rug in Jan, and they have to definitely have a plan by March or so. Frankly, there is still a danger there, they are in a worse part of the credit market than CTYS (used carfinancing), if wee slow down in the next few months their delinwuency rates could skyrocket completely wiping out all the efforts they have done so far. Sure it could jump to 3, but the tepid activity in the stock indicates that the low price fully justify the future risks. I would stay away.
