A lot of Jays fans can't wait for the Lawrie move up, especially inasmuch as the Snider/Thames recent recalls have added so much excitement to the Jays line up. Too bad Lawrie got hit on the hand or he'd already have been called up. AA (Alex Anthopoulos), the Jays GM has his detractors after trading away Halladay, Wells and Marcum, but I'm not in that camp. With those trades, the Jays copped some serious young talent and laid the ground work for som exciting baseball in the years ahead. Lawrie is just one of those prospects obtained. A lot of us can't wait for the arrival of Gose, a centre fielder, another of those prospects that were obtained in these moves. I also love this Cooper kid at 1st base, but with Lind in front of him, he'll have to pay his dues! First time in many years that I have been this excited about watching the Jays play ball!
