I've been reading Marty Chenards recent comments on a rare formation in the VIX: stocktiming.com Suggests a short term bounce in the S&P index, but the possibility of major fear developing in August or September if the VIX bounces off that 16-17 level. It's a very interesting technical indicator of advancing fear in the market going forward. Hawk
