What I am wondering is how the current situation is different from that in 1992 when Clinton came to power after Bush Sr. got voted out "because of the bad economy." what did Clinton do to take this country into a surplus. why don't we do the same thing? What is different now. Just a wild cacophony of dumb folks, yes indeed dumb folks who do not compare to the smart economists in China and India who are planning to slowly wrest the economic initiative from the US. Just 10 years ago it was unthinkable that the US would be subject to a downgrade.
