I might say similar things regarding OPL's current debasement. Sent off an email this am to VP communications mailbox. To Whom It May Concern: I am an Opel shareholder, given the enormous potential of the Poet platform the current stock price is very much a disappointment. There are two milestones I believe the market is awaiting and based on the information published in your news release dated the 2nd of March 2011, they are long overdue. The stock has suffered from the delayed follow through on timelines indicated in this release. “Currently, the board of directors is evaluating proposals from investment banking firms specializing in this technology regarding an engagement to consider strategic alternatives for Opel's future exploitation of the POET technology, which may include the full or partial sale of the technology.” How may I ask can it take 5 months to choose an investment banking advisor? “All components of the technology have been validated by third parties, and the company expects to have a fully integrated, operational chip within months.” This statement from your news implies all components are ready and need only be assembled. Clearly I appreciate that remains complex , however Five months have passed and that qualifies as “within months”. Furthermore, although we have had an update on component verification we have had no update on the actual status of the “Fully Integrated , Operational Chip. Can we shareholders expect an update in the near future on an investment banking relationship and what progress if any on an actual Operational chip? Yours truly
