Francis: My understanding is that Canadian tax-loss related transactions must be completed a few days before year-end, which would put it at around Christmas. RRSP's can go into February of next year. I'm not a tax person so I'm not certain but I think this is correct. Perhaps there's a Canadian tax specialist who can contribute. Cheers Greg
