But, MQ, Dalio clearly runs a cult. Seems very similar to Scientology. The emphasis on ego-less thinking and behavior, while Dear Leader takes in millions, is very suspect. His new title, "Mentor", says it all. Surely he wears flowing white robes at work. And all those crazy handbooks,,,,it is clear to me that the New Yorker, enamored of money as all things New York are, wrote a puff piece. There is assuredly more here than meets the eye.

Dalio is simply an excellent investor and manager who thinks that his methods are somehow special or unusual. He is clearly good at what he does, but the rest of his program borders on the deranged. It may well mask something very unpleasant.

And you imply that those of us who have profited from gold are cultists. One is presented to you in the barest of bare bum form and you don't see it.
