CandleStick, I just talked with someone that I know that bought JMAR 3 years ago on my advice. He was out of town, and I just told him of the plan to raise the $10 million to launch the new product lines. He has been investing since 1947, so I have listened to his advice over the years. First he was happy that the share price for restricted shares was where it is. Second, he reminded me of a stock that he had recommended to me that also did a secondary offering, and after that had the capital to launch its plans. That stock went up and quadrupled over the next couple of years. This was in the stodgy oil industry. The point here is that dilution is not always bad when done for the right reasons. Like with JMAR.

Basically he told me that he feels Dr. Martinez knows where to put this money to launch these technologies and that it is more than worth it to raise the money here. Dilution is a normal part of a growing company. He has talked with Dr. Martinez in the past and feels very comfortable with him as CEO.

To those on this board that keep harping on dilution, may I again ask you if you would like to see an outstanding 1998, or a meek one? After considering what is going on, this is a major event in JMAR's history. JMAR will emerge from primarily R&D to a full fledged growth stock in 1998, primarily due to the raising of money now to launch JMAR's new products and technologies. If you don't like what you see, you can always sell your shares. (Not you CandleStick).
