Moreover, corporate IT departments have finally thrown in the towel resisting Apple products. After years of generally refusing to support iMacs in the workplace, 86% of the Fortune 500 is deploying or supporting iPad use.

This acceptance equates to the percentage of the Fortune 500 that deployed or supported iPhones last quarter, four years after their launch. iPad and iPhone deployment will get both users and IT departments introduced and accustomed to the simplicity and convenience of iOS and the compatibility of Apple’s iWork to the ubiquitous Microsoft Office. At that point, it is a slippery slope to MacBookAir adoption, another unrivaled product in Apple’s repertoire.
