Potential of Trimble Timing Solution Odetics got another order from Korea for GPS timing solution. Total of $19 M in last 1 year. How big is the US market in comparison to Korea? Here is the newswire (excerpt): >> Odetics Telecom today announced additional orders from LG Information and Communications, Ltd. (LGIC), totaling more than $3 million, for K-Star II and PCS-GPS wireless synchronization systems. Odetics Telecom products are used in CDMA base station applications to synchronize South Korea's digital cellular telephone systems and newer personal communications systems (PCS). "Odetics Telecom has received approximately $19 million in orders from LGIC since October 1996," explains David Scheel, general manager of Odetics Telecom. "These continuing orders reflect LGIC's confidence in Odetics Telecom as both supplier and partner in their expanding business." LGIC's products are well established in South Korea's cellular networks.
