<<If the split on the 17th doesnt move this stock I will find someplace else to gamble.>> RS, looks like you got your wish, with TSRI up 15% today (it will open at the 2-1 split price on Tuesday, I believe).

Nightly Business Report had a short piece tonight on the Y2K problem. About 51% of the CEO's interviewed don't think they have a Y2K problem. What a joke, they are either lying or clueless! The Y2K problem will be huge, but business managers don't want to admit this because of company politics. In a way, that should help TSRI, because they have one of the fastest COBOL fixes available (probably THE fastest fix, from what I have read). After the business execs delay as long as possible, claiming "everything is fine", they'll be desperate for a solution in late 1999/early 2000 and be willing to pay any price for the fastest solution. TSRI may be able to virtually print money at that point.

I'm definitely staying with this stock. In addition to the COBOL fix, TSRI indicated they are developing Y2K solutions for PL/1 and assembly language. And on top of that, they have the regular consulting business, though they are scaling that back currently to devote resources to their Y2K business.
