I go to McDonalds and buy 5 dollar gift certificates and give them. Then they have to BUY FOOD. Not liquor or whatever.


What if they're homeless because of mental illness............do you fill their prescriptions......or did you think all homeless people are drunks and druggies? Do you ever talk to these people? Do you ever think that maybe McDonald's food may not be the best food for them and that giving $$$ to a shelter may be the way to go where they can get a more balanced meal and maybe a bed?

And did you know that many of those homeless are Iraqi war vets....from both wars? Some even from the Vietnam war. That many of them are suffering from PTSD and are self medicating to keep the demons at bay; that they did not have a drinking or drug problem before they went to war; that the VA doesn't give them the treatment they need and deserve? Because you see a human wreck on the street, you assume they are lazy slackers who partied too much when they were in college. And most times you would be very wrong.

The truth is, Jim, I don't care how these people got on the mean streets of this country. They don't deserve to be treated like animals........not in the richest country in the world. They deserve to be given at least the bare minimum so they don't have to sleep under freeway overpasses in the middle of winter if they don't want. Yet, these are the people your teapers want to kick to the curb along with the elderly and the disabled....because teapers think they are better than these people when they are not.

Teapers make me sick to my stomach! They are the lesser of us, and yet, they are trying to lead us.

Not over my dead body! Not over my dead body!
