Sedohr, and threaders, my wife and I recently returned from Alberta, Canada. One year and half year ago we were on an Hawaii Cruise. We were both amazed that all the Canadian individuals we spoke with regarding their nationalized healthcare liked their plan partly because it was very reasonable $141 per month for a husband and wife and in Alberta, was free. *They did indicate that if a procedure was not* an emergency it may take approximately three months before getting the procedure completed. But, it normally, take 3-6 weeks to get a procedure done in the US in our area. We did not expect such a response since all we have heard that the Canadians did not like their plans. Our local hospital CEO recommended an article regarding the healthcare in the US and what his hospital is using as a guideline for implementation.
