Some more events of this sort, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the nice peaceful softie Euros go medieval on guys like this one. Europeans used to be very tough, and i suspect they still are, even though they'd probably deny it. A fear of being subjected to a humiliating execution could prevent a good many terrorist acts. I feel it would probably prevent this particular attack in Norway, since the guy is apparently a coward. The moment he saw armed cops, he laid down his weapons. en.wikipedia.org
