Arthur. You seem to know a lot about Ames.

I seriously considered getting into Ames when it was around 9. I guess I thought it had run up a bit then, would probably drop back a bit....and just sort of lost track. Did well in other things but meanwhile Ames would have been second only to my Dell when i sold it off for 100%

It was a price/sales play. With continued earnings growth in real question but recovery from very low bankruptcy valuations the game. Any margin improvements could have enormous leverage on earnings.

I gave it an easy run to 15.

Now it is beyond that, but also perhaps a prime beneficiary of the Asian discount theory/ while good full employment of lower income Americans continues.

What is your current thinking? And ideas re: earnings growth going forward?
