Don't yah hate it when some turd tries to shake you out by buying 500 shares of your sell order ? Swing trading a penny stock and had a sell order in for 10,000 shares at sumthin under 20 cents and this goof desides to take out 500 shares . At the same time the bid went up to a size that would have made it possible to sell the rest of my position . I have pulled this stunt before but if I want those shares I usually will take out about 30% of the ask and make sure that I have a bid big enough to cover the remaining shares .
It is nice to have a spread when doing this . Hardly worth it until the spread hits 3 cents or more on a penny stock .
Some turd pulled the same stunt on me last year , he kept nibbling at my sell side in 500 share bites , this worked for about 4 or 5 days and then a large buy order came in and cleaned out my asks . Weird way to play the market from my point of view .
Milk cows work fine sometimes .
