It seems to me during the Bush presidency the ratio of negative vs positive articles was approx 10-1. It also seems to me that negative articles aimed at sitting presidents have more clout with the general public. When I read an article like the one you posted, I see a lot of dis-ingenuous venting, and also a lot of just plain whining.

I get the feeling an article like this is written just to make the writer feel better.

The author is simply preaching to the liberal base and annoyingly and typical of a lot of writers, saying the same things we've all heard over and over again, repubs bad, liberals good (or vise versa in the case of some conservative writers) which adults in the room know is not the case.

I too have been guilty of adolescent piling on, and 99% of the time it is out of frustration. I think that is what we're seeing from the left. More times than not, they have their little temper tantrums and solidify the notion that they can't be counted on when the going gets tough. They never, ever seem to take responsibility for their own actions and inevitably pass the buck......or is it just indicative of the era of Obama?

It's like dealing with children.
