Yeah, the shipping thing is a hassle. I won't ship to my workplace because it might give my employer the right idea about me. Shipping home via UPS is an absolute nightmare. However, shipping home via FedEx is a joy. Once the shipment is en route, you can go to their web site and have the delivery diverted to the nearest FedEx/Kinkos, where you can pick it up at your convenience.

Unfortunately, Wine Library is "not allowed" to ship to my home state (NY) via FedEx, only UPS. This is apparently a NY only issue for them. With other retailers I am able to use FedEx, and with at least one (WTSO), FedEx is the default. The FedEx vs. UPS shipping issue can be the difference between a buy and a pass for me.
