For myself, I don't have any interest in dividends, since I trade the SP futures or trade one of those market ETF's... I trade a timing model which does extremely well, here the link to my thread...

In addition to following my timing model for the SP futures, I find covered call positions wonderfully low risk, it's a nice feeling not to have to worry about a move up or down and whether or not I'm going to give my profits back... the slow and steady pace is definitely more relaxing and it gives me the time to do other things and still scoop money out of these markets... compared to a net long or short position, the monthly net is minimal, but over the long term, every month, I think it can actually generate a bigger profit than a net long or short position and without all the grief...<g>
