Movie? I thought this was one of those interactive media experiences. Yeah, as soon as the Conservatives got their first minority govt they changed the information books for immigrants inserting sections on Canadian values including very pointed talk about bribes and "honour" killings. They ain't PC. They also sent fire eating but genial senior folk into immigrant communities in Liberal ridings to talk about conservative policy - as Woody Allen said, success is turning up every day. Most immigrants are competitive and very enterprising, even opportunistic, and their basic values line up better with conservatives than liberals but if they don't know the conservative party, as opposed to knowing about it from the liberals, they may not vote for it.
