Not that it matters, but one simply needs to follow biological discoveries to see what biologists "thought" about what. It's irrelevant as this idea that "evolution predicted simple beginnings" is just twisting words... is a plant lower on the "evolutionary tree" more simple than a "higher" plant?

To have evolution you start with whatever (which scientists have always wondered about... i.e. the first cell) and then life advances.... the theory is about species "evolving" from other species... That is ALL THAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN to have evolution. The fact that original life is more complex that we thought, which is really a big "duhhh" because ALL we've discovered is more complexity all along, is NOT a falsification. IN FACT, one of the biggest arguments AGAINST evolution over the years is how "special" humans are and "we couldn't have evolved from THAT". Well... huh!?! Guess what... more complexity, and potential early on simply SUPPORTS evolution... AND much faster than we thought (potentially).

This idea that there is a falsification of evolution here is silly, period. In fact this is one of the most ridiculous twisting and turning I've seen.... clearly just some A-hole "finding" what he's looking for... sort of like you do and what A-hole "bongsnort" just did with his moronic link tying the latest disaster (Norway massacre) to some pet political cause he has.

If you can explain how this somehow falsifies "evolution", let me know, but it's not in that article.
