IMO, president Obama has received very poor advice from his handlers...From the early days of his presidency he needed to have a very experienced Senior Advisor like Bill Moyers -- a true progressive who was in the trenches during the Johnson Administration....Moyers could have provided Obama with valuable input and advice from a journalist (and White House insider) who saw a progressive president make some very serious mistakes...Instead Obama surrounds himself with too many DLC corporate types like Rahm, Daley, etc...they've had way too much influence and I think Obama has failed to grow into the "pragmatic progressive" president that he promised so many of us that he was going to be.
