Nothing wrong with selling your position on a downturn. I don't see it
at this moment. Approaching a critical semi re-evaluation and let's
face it. The shorts with the power covered. They held the price down as they escaped. It was like watching a Hogan's Heroes Marathon..hehe! The power cannot be revearsed ...go with the wave.

I lost a bundle going against it. One thing I will not do is buy in
and out of a position for teenies. Some like that. It is fine, but if
Cymer is part of your core position, it is best to let it grow.

When the price got to 16...I wondered...as before at 25...who can afford to dell at these prices. Then I realized. Little of the
volume was actual sales of positions. Yes, the sales were of note.

However, I only need to refer back to the real estate debacle that
failed the savings and loans to remember how the same "property" can
sold back and forth for a substantial gain on each sale. The same
can be done with an "equity" and also in reverse. However once the
necessary numbers have been made to cover it is to everyones benefit
to buy in as the down selling pressure is gone.

CYMI has improved 50% in a few days. Not good enough for some. Well
it is better than most.

There are lingering, less professional and less powerful shorts still locked in. If we let it ride ...they are trapped. A market turn down
gives them rest, but not reprieve as they have many other positions
to cover.

It looks good to me. The few shorts...probably a third of that last
week will remain a positive influence in this stock.

Use this if you have not better. It is a very good chart. Use the
indicators and select short position as one comparision. It only
works for NYSE stocks as they supply this information. You may run
a series of models in NYSE stocks and see the relationship between
the short interest and the movement of the stock.

From what I have seen CYMI should be very healthy now as it approaches
"news" from conferences. Please run some models with "short interest"
as on of the indicators.
