I wish I could buy something (Not S3). But I've already been devastated.
S3 has really shook me up. From the past of S3, I've learned that this stock is ALWAYS followed by a down fall after it moves up a little.
It has moved up almost 1.25 from its drop on Nov. 4, 1997.
The FACT that none of us really knows how S3 is doing, makes all the estimates, and P/Es, and expectations for this stock worthless.
There is no accurate information out there right now.
Before this thing is done, I bet they are going to change not only their past EPS values, but also their inventory numbers(current and past).
What if the insurance does not cover their Fraud?
What if they decide to go Bankrupt, and come up as a new company that has a new name. That cares of paying the lawyers, the lawsuits, and hiring new engineers, and all debt responsibilities. It also destroys our share's value.
One thing I am sure of is that the current EPS estimates I posted are going to change for the worst.
I don't want to be holding any S3 when this happens. I was a long time holder of S3, and I got screwed. Month after month this company has screwed its share holders, and we couldn't figure out what was going on. Now you ask me to trust them, and purchase more stock. GET REAL. Your suggestion might be true for the short term. I don't know, but it is also gambling.
