armi, thanks for the perspective. I'm coming around to the view that the computing power and storage power is going to live in the cloud, but I'm not sure what that means for processing (I'm long INTC) and storage (WDC, STX, SNDK, others).

What makes it fuzzy to me is all the devices on the consumer side seem like they create a ton of demand "behind the curtain" - and while consumer device might have different CPU and storage, I'm not sure where that leaves what is out of sight. again, I'm long INTC so that tells you I'm betting some on what's behind the curtain (more of a gut feel and based on comments from the company), but I really wonder if the same game plays out in storage w/ consumer devices going one way and the cloud going another.

anyhow, how it plays out I think provides opportunity which is what I'm looking for.
