Don:As i have previously stated PDE receptors are found throughout the body.Inhibition of this enzyme will by definition affect any number of organs and systems. It's ludicrous to believe Viagra only has a localized enzymatic inhibitory affect on penile erectile tissues. All enzyme inhibition is dose related so with varying doses many organs will be affected.Assuming a high concentration of PDE-5 receptors in the penis the chance Viagra inhibits this enzyme and no others in the PDE system is virtually impossible.Even if total PDE-5 inhibition in the penis occurs this agent will have similar inhibiting actions on similar receptors in other areas. The extent to which actual symptoms and side effects are seen will vary with doses and patients. The pharmacokinetics, how the body handles the drug, will vary with the patient depending on a multitude of variables, age, hydration, medical status, medical therapies,ETC.The potential for serious side affects goes up with doses and general condition of patient ETC.To believe this or any agent is innocous is ridiculous. The side effect profile alluded to by P-N will not be supported by hard data when an appropriate patient group starts taking this medication regularly over long periods.
I know you asked me what time it was and I told you how to build a watch ,sorry.
