I am very much in favor of Elizabeth Warren as head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I agree with her 100% that some lenders deliberately target low income people. I see it with my own eyes, and so can you, even though you are not a consumer bankruptcy attorney.

Just drive around the commercial area of any low income zone in this country. You will see on every corner payday lenders, car title lenders, rent-to-own centers, and check cashers/cambio.

If such commerce starts to pop up in your own neighborhood, be afraid. You are not the target but your neighbors are, and they're on their way down.

Also, drive around a military base. Same thing.

Around here in Northern Virginia, you would see this near Fort Belvoir and Quantico.

I see a direct correlation in the epicenters of foreclosures, as well, e.g., Woodbridge.
