Nancy;

--->I recall long while back you have posted what stocks make up your red dogs - do you care to post them again ?

The stocks that my programmer has in the data base to have the neural net make up the figures and determine the calls from are all the stocks in the S&P 100....the OEX.
Plus, it wouldn't suprise me if he has "doctored" the data base on me from time to time.
We are both big believers in simple.
Him because it make his job of programming easier.
Mine because that's the way my mind works.
So we don't always consult about changes (meaning he can do what he wants with the formula cause I can't even read it....gggg)
BUT, I do know that if he changes something without telling me, it has been well tried and proven and the numbers have been crunched millions of times before he just sends it to me.
AND the results are equal to or better than before the change.

To make it as simple as possible is our goal.

Should we be able to reduce it to only one harbinger, it would not displease either of us if the resulting forcast were as accurate as it is now.
That is probably out of the question, but constant work is the only method to know if it can be accompolished

Back to your question, the figs are compiled from the 100.
You might be recalling Cousin Ike's big 11 that are very indicative in themselves.
They can be pulled up all the time at this URL-----------http://quote.yahoo.com/quotes?symbols=ge+ibm+intc+ko+msft+xon+amat+mot+txn+nvls+wfc&detailed=f
