Also, PWE dropped their dividend from July, 2010 when they peaked out @ .146 to .145 in Aug to .088 to .09,
where it currently is (.27 quarterly now)

While PGH, which I own, continues to raise their divie and still pays monthly. However, the payout ratios for both companies make me a little ill; I don't understand the strategy. 175%??? 145%???

I just keep my head down, and continue to collect, though a little sheepishly. Can anybody explain the thinking here? Do they just borrow some of the funds they pay out?
