I do not post often but I consider myself an AMD faithful as you put it (as I object to monopolies especially when led by the likes of Intel)and have held on and increased my AMD portfolio many times over the last 18 months. I am down currently down 10% overall on my investment but I fully expect to recoup........someday
- but if that's the price of helping to thwart an Intel monoploy, so be

And before you get all high and mighty about the all mightyIntel over AMD I freely state that Intel is the "king" of the hill and will probably remain so...what I object to is their complacent and "that's just the way it is" attitude when there is no competition at their backside. That's why I want AMD and Cyrix to keep nipping at their heels.

One lie that always makes me laugh (and there are some from AMD too) is the statement from Intel that the competitors have nothing to do with their roadmap or pricing. I have several close friends who are Intel mid level managers and don't for a second think that AMD, Cyrix and IBM are not on their minds and driving them along right now.

Oh well I said my piece so I guess I'll fade away again
:)
