Al, if you want to talk about real solutions and not about "who won or who lost," I'd be happy to oblige.

Personally I'd like to see the budget frozen and the Bush tax cuts expired. Also put a hold on ObamaCare. Get out of Iraq and Afghanistan, too. And stop this stimulus nonsense.

Someone has to stand up and say, "Enough is enough. We can't afford this anymore. Time to restore faith in government." That would command a lot more respect than cowering in the face of whiners who complain about a zero percent cost-of-living-adjustment. Or paying attention to hypocrites who were once against deficit spending before they were for it.
