<They simply suck for the past 4 years or so.> Paul, I have to disagree about the NEC monitors. I have a new 19" Hitachi Super Scan (.22 Dot Pitch) that I would recommend in a minute, but it doesn't hold a candle compared to the sharpness of the picture on my 17" NEC Multisync 5FGp that I have owned for a few years. It has simply the best looking picture of any monitor that I have looked at. Anyway, happy shopping!
