the soda can stove is very popular amongst backpackers. Very light and uses the same fuel as the stever stove. hikingforums.net thesodacanstove.com I use the pocket rocket stove rei.com Which is good for 2 or 3 day hikes, but not enough for week long or longer hikes as the fuel weighs too much. I'll probably go to an alcohol stove like the pepsi can stove or stever stove when I do the John Muir trail in two years. grubbage
