With 105 or 75 stocks..many are very small positions. Probably the most specultaive like you say.

1) Keep in mind that in the speculative arena, only a few specs out of many thousands works out.

2) Even if a position that is, say below 1 or 2% of your portfolio, doubles or triples, the effect on your portfolio is small.

3) You with be better off with and ETF like GDXJ or some well managed fund.

BUt if you are having fun, can make it work and have the time to manage it...than go for it.
