Hi Tomato, I think you are being unreasonable in your desire for junior mining companies to issue weekly or bi-weekly news releases; and/or hold conference calls with investors. You see if a junior started publishing news every week, even though there was no material change in its affairs, the company would be sanctioned by the stock exchange. As for conference calls, that too raises regulatory problems in as much as what is said could be perceived to be an exchange of inside information with a group of select non-insiders.

You mentioned several other public companies whose management posts to S.I. I know of one of those which you named where the management poster has stopped posting because he was warned off by the powers that be. Only god can help the other two if they are still posting. Most junior companies are easily reached these days and they are usually more than eager to tell you what is going on. Often, though, the person answering the phone is not an insider and is not privy to everything.

As for cheap options, all companies do it. Its a fact of life. It just hurts more when the stock has tanked. On the plus side cheap options can be a powerful promotional incentive.
