I think Lafarge looks modestly interesting; at current levels the company is valued at 7x EBITDA, which is not that rich but not very cheap either. There is a fair amount of debt to serve and lately South America and Africa have been carrying the business. You are correct, for this stock to succeed,the USA and Europe need to pick pick up and right now that is not happening. As it is Lafarge would be a LT recovery
Story.

I know less about HOLCIM, but it appears about the same story. Currently, I am not interested.
