Praveen - Re: " One lie that always makes me laugh (and there are some from AMD too) is the statement from Intel that the competitors have nothing to do with their roadmap or pricing"

I suppose you think Jerry Sanders REALLY wants everybody to buy computers cheaper, that he is just looking out for the good of us citizens?

It wouldn't have anything to do with Jerry trying to become King of the Hill, now, would it?

As to Intel's motives, I'm certain that they want to deal a tremendous financial blow to AMD by virtue of their continued price cuts. And Sanders can't complain because lower system costs for everyone was what wants, right? (Listen to his Microprocessor Forum Keynote Speech).

Intel's objective is to be the uncontested winner. They want it all. Why not? If they can get it, they deserve it. Business is business and they seem to run their business better than AMD.
