Sorry, but I have a lot of questions. I ask them to sharpen your focus and to express you thoughts. On another forum, I questioned the credibility of A. Greenspan, and went further to wonder who is in charge. To be blunt, does the Fed. Reserve have a workable master plan? Is the universe unfolding according to plan?
Re-reading the above, I realize I have to expand. Greenspan made statements regarding the unreasonable exuberance of the stock market in the past (presumably to elicit some slowdown, caution or common-sense), only to have that shrugged off as irrevalent, as the market continued on its "exuberant" rise. Other comments he made were also disregarded or irrevalent. (detail on request)
The big question: Is the Fed. Reserve "winging it"? e.g. will they manage the economy in the end, do they know what they are doing?
This is a fundamental question, upon which the economic future may hinge!
Asking the question is the easy (forgive me), answering is not.
So, what are your thoughts?
